From Pakistani source document to application-ready translation

You can complete the translation process online without visiting our office. The embassy, immigration authority or authorized centre remains responsible for application submission and decisions.

Why document-specific translation matters

Visa files are judged as a complete record

A translation should not be treated as an isolated sheet of text. Visa and immigration files connect passports, identity records, family relationships, education, employment, finances and travel history. A spelling or date written differently across a birth certificate, Nikah Nama, marriage registration certificate, CNIC and passport can create questions even when each individual document is genuine.

Translation.pk reviews the supplied source for names, dates, document numbers, seals, stamps, handwritten entries and visible amendments. We do not alter the original record, invent missing information or certify facts outside the document. Where an entry is unclear, a better scan or client confirmation may be requested.

Embassy translation is not the same as visa advice

We provide professional translation and document-language support. We do not select visa categories, complete legal assessments, guarantee acceptance or influence decisions. UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the U.S. National Visa Center (NVC), the Australian Department of Home Affairs and other authorities publish their own current requirements.

Commercial providers may operate a Visa Application Centre (VAC), collect biometrics or forward documents, but they do not necessarily decide the application. Provider contracts and submission channels can change, so verify the current process through the official government or embassy website before ordering.

Certified translations prepared around your instructions

The appropriate output may be an English translation on company letterhead, a signed translator declaration, a certified translation, a notarized declaration, a target-language translation or another format. Tell us exactly what the authority requests. If its wording is unclear, send a screenshot or link to the relevant instruction.

Do not confuse the stages

Translation, certification, notarization and attestation

1. Translation

The content is accurately rendered from the source language into the language required by the receiving authority.

2. Translation certification

A signed statement or company certification identifies the translation and confirms the translator or provider's work.

3. Notarization

A notary verifies a signature or declaration. Notarization does not itself authenticate the issuing government document.

4. Attestation or legalization

Designated authorities authenticate documents or signatures for foreign use. Country-specific chains and terminology differ.

Languages commonly required

Translation.pk reviews embassy and immigration documents involving English, Urdu, Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Czech, Portuguese, Dutch, Greek, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian and other available languages.

Pakistani source documents may also contain Punjabi, Pashto/Pushto, Sindhi or Balochi. Availability depends on the document, language pair, legibility and certification requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Embassy and visa document translation FAQs

Which documents can be translated for an embassy or visa application?

Common requests include birth, marriage and divorce certificates, Nikah Nama, family registration records, police certificates, educational records, employment letters, bank and tax documents, affidavits, court orders, medical records, sponsorship evidence and business documents. The exact list comes from the relevant authority.

Is a certified translation always required for a visa application?

Not always. Certification rules depend on the country, visa category, issuing language and authority. Some applications require a certified translation, while others require translator details, a declaration, notarization, legalization or a translation by a specifically recognized translator.

Do you translate Urdu documents into English for UK, Canada, USA and Australia applications?

Yes. Urdu-to-English translation is commonly requested for visa and immigration files. Send the authority checklist or portal instruction so the certification, layout and translator details can be matched to the stated requirement.

Can you translate a Pakistani Nikah Nama and marriage certificate?

Yes. A readable Nikah Nama, NADRA marriage registration certificate and related records can be reviewed for translation. Names, dates, CNIC details and marital information should be consistent across the complete application.

Do I need to submit the original-language document with its translation?

Many immigration systems ask for both the source-language document and its translation. Follow the current checklist for your visa category and keep complete, readable copies of every page, stamp, seal and reverse side.

Can you translate documents for UKVI, IRCC, USCIS, NVC, CEAC or ImmiAccount?

Translation.pk can prepare translations for files being assembled for these systems. The applicant or authorized adviser must confirm the current document, certification and upload requirements directly from the relevant official portal.

Are translations guaranteed to be accepted by an embassy?

No translation provider can control an embassy, visa officer or immigration authority. We translate and certify according to the agreed instructions, but the receiving authority alone decides whether a document, translation or application is acceptable.

What is the difference between translation, notarization, attestation and legalization?

Translation changes the document language. Certification identifies and confirms the translation work. Notarization verifies a signature or declaration. Attestation or legalization authenticates a document or signature through designated authorities. These are separate steps and not every application needs all of them.

Can you translate documents for a Schengen visa?

Yes. Documents for France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Czech Republic and other Schengen destinations can be reviewed. Translation language and certification requirements vary by mission, visa type and document, so use the current country checklist.

Do you work with VFS Global, BLS International or Gerry's Visa applications?

Applicants may submit through commercial visa application centres such as VFS Global, BLS International, Gerry's Visa or another current provider. Translation.pk is an independent language service and is not the visa centre or decision-making authority.

Can documents be translated for student and work visas?

Yes. Student files may include degrees, transcripts, certificates and financial or sponsorship evidence. Work files may include experience letters, employment contracts, qualifications, licences, police records and civil documents.

Can I order embassy document translation online from another city?

Yes. Clients in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan and other locations can send clear files online. Digital delivery is available and printed delivery can be discussed where needed.

How should names be written in the translation?

Passport spelling should normally be used for the applicant and related persons where available. Tell us about aliases, previous names and spelling differences before translation so they can be handled consistently and without changing the source record.

How quickly can visa documents be translated?

Turnaround depends on page count, language, legibility, specialist content, formatting, certification and deadline. Send the complete file for a realistic quotation rather than relying on a generic per-page estimate.

Can Translation.pk advise which visa I should apply for?

No. Translation.pk provides language and document support, not immigration legal advice, visa representation or eligibility assessment. Use the official government website or a properly authorized immigration adviser for application advice.

What should I send for a quotation?

Send clear copies of every page, the source and target languages, destination country, visa or immigration category, official checklist or instruction, certification requirement, number of copies and deadline. You may hide information not needed for an initial estimate.

Need documents translated for an embassy or visa application?

Send the complete files, destination, visa category, required language, official instruction and deadline for a document-specific quotation.
