1. Acceptance and priority of terms
These terms apply when you browse or use Translation.pk, request a quotation, submit files, approve a project, make payment or book a language service. “Client” means the person or organization requesting or purchasing the service. “Translation.pk” means the language-service provider identified on this website.
Submitting an enquiry does not itself create an order. An order is formed only when Translation.pk accepts the scope and the stated approval and payment conditions are completed. If a signed agreement, accepted quotation or written project condition conflicts with this page, the project-specific written term applies to that project.
If you act for an organization or another person, you confirm that you have authority to provide instructions, submit the material and accept the applicable terms on their behalf.
2. Website information and permitted use
The website helps users understand services and submit requirements. Service descriptions, examples, turnaround references and general guidance do not constitute a binding offer, legal advice, immigration advice or a guarantee of availability or outcome.
You may use the public website for lawful personal or business enquiries. You must not:
- attempt unauthorized access, scraping that disrupts service, malware delivery or security testing without written permission;
- submit material that is unlawful, deceptive, infringing, abusive or intended to facilitate fraud;
- misrepresent identity, authority, document ownership or the purpose of a service;
- copy substantial website content, branding or database material for competing publication without permission;
- use forms for spam, job scams, unsolicited marketing or unrelated automated messages.
3. Quotations, scope and order confirmation
A quotation is prepared from the information and files available at the time. It may specify language direction, source volume, service level, deliverables, certification, formatting, review, deadline, payment, courier and other conditions.
Unless a quotation says otherwise, it can be revised or withdrawn before acceptance if the source, instructions, availability, third-party cost or material project assumption changes. Replaced pages, hidden text, poor scans, handwritten content, additional files, new formatting, changed purpose or a different receiving requirement may require a new price and schedule.
4. Client responsibilities
Before confirmation
- Provide complete, final and readable source material.
- State the correct source and target language direction.
- Explain intended use and receiving organization.
- Share mandatory templates, spelling and terminology.
- Disclose the real deadline and delivery format.
- Identify confidentiality and security requirements.
During review and delivery
- Respond promptly to material questions.
- Check names, dates and supplied factual details.
- Do not alter the source without notifying us.
- Use only the final approved deliverable.
- Report a suspected issue with precise references.
- Meet payment, collection and courier obligations.
The client confirms that it has a lawful basis and authority to submit the material for processing. The client should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive data and should not send passwords, PINs or one-time authentication codes.
5. Pricing, taxes and payment
Prices depend on the actual language direction, volume, complexity, file condition, service level, certification, formatting, deadline, delivery and professional availability. A website page does not create a universal per-word, per-page or hourly rate.
- Payment is due according to the accepted quotation, which may require full or partial advance payment.
- Work and scheduling may begin only after cleared payment and complete instructions are received.
- Bank, PayPal, Western Union, wallet, currency-conversion and intermediary charges are handled as stated in the quotation.
- The client must use current payment instructions supplied for the confirmed project and provide a usable transaction reference.
- Taxes, withholding documents and institutional procurement requirements should be raised before confirmation.
Translation.pk may pause work or withhold final delivery where an agreed payment is overdue, without waiving payment obligations or other rights.
6. Scheduling, delivery, checks and revisions
A delivery estimate normally begins after Translation.pk has the final readable source, complete instructions, required approval and cleared payment. Urgent, rare-language, specialist, large-volume, handwritten, audio, on-site and third-party-dependent work is subject to confirmed availability.
Delivery may be digital, physical, couriered or on site as agreed. Courier and external-platform performance are outside direct control, although reasonable coordination can be provided.
Corrections and revision requests
Notify Translation.pk promptly and identify the exact page, segment or issue. A confirmed error within the agreed scope will be reviewed and corrected as appropriate. A preference change, new source, new audience, new terminology, changed facts, expanded scope or redesigned layout is additional work and may be chargeable.
Language can allow more than one valid rendering. A stylistic preference is not automatically an accuracy error. Where client terminology or a receiving authority’s prescribed form is required, it should be supplied before work begins.
7. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds
Contact Translation.pk immediately if a project must be cancelled or changed. Any refund or credit depends on the accepted quotation, the stage reached and costs already committed.
- Completed work, professional time already used and non-refundable third-party costs may be deducted.
- Interpreter bookings may include minimum booking, travel, preparation, rescheduling and cancellation charges.
- Urgent work may commit resources immediately after confirmation.
- Payment-provider fees and exchange-rate differences may not be recoverable.
- No refund is due merely because a third party rejects an otherwise delivered service for reasons outside the agreed scope.
Nothing in this section excludes a mandatory remedy that applicable law does not permit the parties to exclude.
8. Certification, embassies, authorities and third parties
Certification, translator declarations, stamps, notarization, attestation and similar steps are distinct. Only the items stated in the accepted quotation are included.
Embassies, visa centres, immigration authorities, courts, universities, employers, banks and other organizations set and change their own requirements. The client must obtain the current checklist and communicate it before confirmation. Translation.pk does not decide authenticity, admissibility, legal effect, visa eligibility or acceptance and cannot guarantee a third-party result.
External links, payment services, couriers, cloud-transfer tools and other third-party systems operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
9. Confidentiality, personal data and project files
Translation.pk uses project information to assess, quote, coordinate, perform, review, invoice, deliver and support the requested service. Access may be provided to suitable translators, interpreters, reviewers, coordinators and necessary service providers for those purposes.
Project-specific NDA, restricted access, secure transfer, retention or deletion conditions must be agreed before confirmation. Absolute internet or transmission security cannot be guaranteed. Clients should use the agreed channel and remove unrelated sensitive information where possible.
Further details appear in the Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual property and supplied material
The client retains rights it lawfully holds in supplied source material. The client confirms that Translation.pk and assigned professionals may process that material to provide the requested service.
Subject to full payment and any project-specific agreement, the client may use the final commissioned deliverable for the stated purpose. Translation memories, glossaries, tools, templates, workflows, pre-existing materials, general know-how and website content remain with their respective owners unless expressly transferred in writing.
Translation.pk will not intentionally publish confidential client material as a portfolio sample without permission. Public examples should be independently created, authorized or suitably anonymized.
11. Professional boundaries, warranties and liability
Translation.pk will use reasonable professional care to provide the accepted service. Translation and interpretation support communication; they do not replace advice from a lawyer, doctor, accountant, immigration adviser, engineer or other appropriately qualified professional.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Translation.pk is not responsible for indirect, consequential or speculative loss; decisions made without appropriate professional review; undisclosed requirements; source errors; client alterations; third-party rejection; or failure caused by systems, couriers, authorities or events outside reasonable control.
Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, aggregate liability relating to an affected service will ordinarily be limited to the amount paid to Translation.pk for that affected service, except where applicable law requires a different remedy or limit.
12. Changes, governing law and contact
Translation.pk may update these website terms prospectively. The version applicable to a confirmed project is the version incorporated into or available when the project was accepted, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
These terms are governed by applicable laws of Pakistan. Subject to mandatory rules that cannot be excluded, disputes are subject to the competent courts in Islamabad, Pakistan. The parties should first try to resolve a concern promptly and in good faith using the project reference and relevant evidence.
Questions about these terms may be sent through the contact page before an order is approved or paid.
