Italy citizenship document translation requirements
Italian procedures may require Italian translations and destination-specific certification or legalization. Civil-status records and academic documents should preserve complete names, places, dates and annotations. For Citizenship applications, Translation.pk combines this destination context with careful treatment of civil records, academic documents, employment evidence, financial records and legal papers. The translation reproduces the source record; it does not decide eligibility or strengthen the evidence.
The current instructions issued by the Italian embassy, university, municipality, immigration office, court or employer control the accepted language, document set, translator eligibility, certification wording and source-copy requirements. Nationality authorities set the evidence period, accepted languages and certification rules. Applicants should distinguish document translation from language-test, residence and eligibility requirements. For Italy, applicants should confirm whether Italian, English, Urdu and other source languages are accepted and whether notarization, apostille, legalization or attestation is a separate step.
Requirements change. Check the current instructions from Italian embassy, university, municipality, immigration office, court or employer before submission.
